This winter has been a complete bust for us. Since arriving in Quartzsite we have done little besides work. We are finally getting some R&R just in time to pack up! This is our last week of work for the winter, but we won't be leaving town for a couple of weeks. I always have more time to write when we are not stationary. If we are staying put for a few months it is because we are working. When we work we work a lot.
The next few weeks will be filled with a couple of trips without our rig before we return to get ready to head north. We will be spending a week in San Diego and hopefully spending up to a week in the Wiley Wells area of southern California. After that we will be busy with organizing, downsizing, and repacking before we leave. I have to do it every time after a long period of being sedentary.
Our planned route north is through Arizona via I-40. We have taken this way a bunch of times over the years. Hopefully we will find some interesting things left for us to check out. We are heading to New Mexico for a few weeks, then north into Colorado. That is as long as the weather is decent. <>Nicole<>
